Dave,

There is a very simple way to do it which is to generate a simple XSLT
stylesheet which is keeping only the node to find and to process your
document with it...

Otherwise, you need a XPATH implementation more than a XSLT processor.

The XT XPATH implementation is not documented and I have never used
it...

Paul has pointed me to a XPATH implementation on top of XT which you may
want to check (http://www.246.ne.jp/~kamiya/pub/XPath4XT.html).

Other XSLT processors have a documented XPATH API (it's the case with
Xalan for example).

This is an interesting subject, please keep us posted !
