[list4xt] Hacking XT to work with non-unicode.

Hello.

Sofar XT can handle only unicode or ASCII ( please correct me if I'm wrong).

I want to use XT with, for example, Russian legacy encoding ( which is not ASCII and not unicode ).

For some reasons I'l better to hack XT instead of switching to SAXON.

In case somebody tried to do this before I'm worndering - what are the places to hack?

Many thanks and sorry if I'm missing something trivial.
