Paul, I think you are being unfair in your characterization of what
happened in this situation. Both companies entered into preparations in
very good faith and, as I understand it, only after exploring all legal
aspects of the concept did they discover it was not feasible.

I see the implication in your note that they were trying to be misleading
in their press release as unjust.
