Apparently, from what I learned this week,
a shortfall in xt is in the interpretation of variables
within match patterns.
template match="path/path[$var='literal']">

is OK by xt, not according to Saxon.
Mike K says it was 'changed' late in the day, guessing
that this was after James delivered his product?

It caught me/Warren H out.

Just a warning to others.
