In theory, you should be able to do this... however, in practice you'll
see that many properties and method of the XMLOutputHandler are defined
as private and/or final and that you won't be able to derive much from
this class.

The easiest way is therefore to copy the XMLOutputHandler.java file,
replace the "package com.jclark.xsl.sax;" by a "import
com.jclark.xsl.sax.*;", do your modifications and use it through the
java extension as shown from the XHTMLOutputHandler.
