Hi,
I'm not positive, but I think this may be an XT issue, since a
transformation that works in Cocoon doesn't work here.
I'm running XT on Tomcat/Apache/Linux using XSLServlet. When I try to load
images I get the following error:
<snip>
2001-05-08 11:43:41 - Ctx( /xmldev ): Exception in: R( /xmldev +
/servlet/xt + /EAD/nyhsa.jpg) - javax.servlet.ServletException: character
not allowed
at com.jclark.xsl.sax.XSLServlet.doGet(XSLServlet.java)
at javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet.service(HttpServlet.java
</snip>
<snip>
Root cause:
org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: character not allowed
at com.jclark.xml.sax.Driver.parse(Driver.java)
at com.jclark.xsl.sax.XMLProcessorImpl.load(XMLProcessorImpl.java)
at com.jclark.xsl.sax.XSLProcessorImpl.parse(XSLProcessorImpl.java)
at com.jclark.xsl.sax.XSLServlet.doGet(XSLServlet.java)
</snip>
After triple checking for errors and getting a clean bill of health on the
stylesheet/doc combo from the command line on my PC, I can only figure that
it's trying to serialize the image file as text and I need to do more
explicit mime mapping. I've tried adding <mime-mapping> to my web.xml file
to no avail. Am I missing something obvious?
Thanks for any help.
Leslie
