     Paul Tchistopolskii

     1. http://www.246.ne.jp/~kamiya/pub/XPath4XT.html

Provides the basics for XPath queries on top of DOM ( And OM )
and the hack itself looks like a 'good thing' ( I have spend
some time debugging it - it looks to be accurate ).

Not sure how easy it will be to use it as-is with 'current node' -
but for sure it provides the API's for it ( there is 'context'
     parameter there ).

If I'l need to do anything with Xpath on top of DOM / OM -
I will go with this tool - looks like there is no choice.

Thanks Paul.

Also SAXON for sure has a *lot* of support for things like this.

If I could get my head round Saxon source I think it would have been
my starting point. I still have a lot to learn about Java first.

Appreciate the help.

Regards, DaveP
