What about xt:transform-node-set(nodexml, nodexsl) where nodexml and
nodexsl are 2 nodesets (or eventually result tree fragments), nodexml
being transformed by nodexsl.
 
It's still a 2 step transformation while being easily called within the
"master" transformation.
